English Department of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences, The University of Trunojoyo Madura. Advisors: (1) Dr. Suryo Tri Saksono, (II) Erika Citra Sari H, S.S, M.Hum. The poem Song to the Men of England by Percy Bysshe Shelley are the poem that contains about the suffer condition of the working class. The poem are the interesting poem to discuss. The poem describes about the social condition of England in early 19th Century. So this study discuss about the reflection of England’s social condition in early 19th Century in the poem. Therefore, the aims of this study are to answer: (1) How do the poem entitled Song to the men of England reflect the social condition of England in early 19th century? Sociology of Work that branch of Sociology of Literature theory is used to analyze social condition of England in early19th Century reflected in the poem. The lines of the poem that reflect to the social condition are as the data in this study. In line with the features of qualitative research, the data collection was done simultaneously with the data analysis. There are three related processes in the data analysis that is done together; displaying data and making conclusion. From the study, the poem describe about England’s social condition in early 19th Century from the Working Class point of view. The poem shows the exploitation of the workers by their lords in England’s society, and Working Class’s suffering. All of those aspects are impact of the industrial revolutionary in England at the time. England becomes development country, but the social condition is bad. The society becomes segregation between working class and the classes above. The lower class suffers especially the working class.
