Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kecanggihan teknologi yang digunakan dengan menggunakan metode teknometrik dan memberikan usulan strategi untuk mengembangkan teknologi menggunakan analisisSWOT. Metode teknometrik merupakan model yang digunakan dalam penelitian untuk mengukur kontribusi yang saling terkait dari setiap komponen teknologi.Penilaian tingkat teknologi dilakukan dengan menghitung nilai TCC (technology contribution coefficient) dari komponen teknologi technoware (fasilitas fisik), humanware (perangkat pelaku), infoware (perangkat informasi), dan orgaware (perangkat organisasi).Penyusunan usulan strategi dilakukan dengan menilai teknologi yang perlu diperbaiki pada metode teknometrik dan analisis SWOT untuk menyusun strategi teknologi.Dari penelitian ini diperoleh nilai TCC sebesar 0.46, yang berdasarkan selang TCC, divisi PPIA PT. Barata Indonesia (Persero) berada pada klasifikasi yang cukup dan berdasarkan skala penilaian, perusahaan berada pada klasifikasi teknologi semi modern. Kemudian menyusun strategi berdasarkan analisis SWOT dan kriteria kritis dari komponen teknologi yang perlu diperbaiki pada perusahaan. This research aims to determine the level of sophistication technology that used by technometric method and useful proposes strategies for developing technologies using SWOTanalysis. Technometric method is a model that is used in research to measuring the interrelated contribution of each technologiescomponent. Technology level assessmentis done by calculating the value of TCC (technology contribution coefficient) of technoware technology components (physical facilities), humanware (the perpetrator), infoware (device information), and orgaware (the organization). Strategypreparation is done by assessing the technology that needs to improved on the technometric method and SWOT analysis to formulate technology strategy. This research obtained a 0.46TCC value,which based TCC hose, PPIA division of PT. Barata Indonesia (Persero) located atthe sufficient classification and based on the rating scale, the company located at the semi-modern technologyclassification. Then create a strategy based on SWOT analysis and critical criteria of technology components that need torepaired at the company.
