Pengaruh sosiobudaya masyarakat Madura terhadap sapi telah melahirkan kesenian unik yang dinamakan kesenian sapi sonok. Sapi sonok merupakan dua sapi betina yang berkualitas khas Madura yang dipasangkan dan diikutkan pada kontes sapi sonok. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat pada aspek kesenian sapi sonok yaitu karakteristik responden, aspek ekonomi usaha ternak sapi sonok dan aspek sosial budaya kesenian sapi sonok, lokasi dipilih secara sengaja di Kecamatan Waru Kabupaten Pamekasan karena merupakan pusat kesenian sapi sonok dan mengambil 40 responden peternak sapi sonok dengan menggunakan metode snow ball sampling dengan metode analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah usaha ternak sapi sonok layak dikembangkan karena menguntungkan bagi peternak dengan R/C=1,63. Sedangkan dari aspek sosial budaya dapat berdampak positif pada masyarakat sekitar dan pada peternak, kelemahannya adalah kurangnya komunikasi antara pecinta sapi sonok dengan para tokoh agama. The purpose of this study is to look at the aspect of Cow art sonok the characteristics of the respondents, the economic aspects of the cattle business sonok and socio-cultural aspects of cow art sonok, were purposively selected locations in the District Waru Pamekasan as an arts center sonok cows and cattle ranchers take 40 respondents sonok using snowball sampling method with quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis.
