Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh produk domestik regional bruto, pertumbuhan penduduk dan pendidikan tinggi terhadap tingkat pengagguran terbuka di Madura baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode dokumenter. Teknik yang digunakan berupa data panel (pooled data) yaitu gabungan antara data time series dan cross section, dan di analisis menggunakan FEM (Fixed Effect Model). Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah produk domestik regional bruto, pertumbuhan penduduk dan pendidikan tinggi secara simultan dan secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pengangguran terbuka di Madura tahun 2001-2011, dan berdasarkan hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis secara simultan dapat diterima dan secara parsial tidak dapat diterima.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of regional gross domestic product, population growth and the level of higher education in Madura pengagguran open either simultaneously or partially. This research was carried out quantitatively by using the method of documentary. The technique used in the form of panel data (pooled data) which combines the data time series and cross section, and in the analysis using FEM (Fixed Effect Model). The hypothesis of this study is the regional gross domestic product, population growth and higher education simultaneously and partially affect the level of unemployment in Madura years 2001-2011, and based on the results of the testing indicate that the simultaneous hypothesis partially acceptable and unacceptable.
