Sampai saat ini terdapat perbedaan lepas air tua (LAT)pada proses pembuatan garam rakyat yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi. Tujuan penelitian ini membandingkan air tua berbeda terhadap bobot dan ukuran kristal garam yang dihasilkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan terdiri dari P1, 230Be, P2, 240Be, P3, 250Be dan P4, 260Be dan 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian ada perbedaan yang nyata terhadap bobot garam yang dihasilkan pada P4 186gr dengan konsentrasi air tua 260B, sedangkan pada P1 217gr, 230Be, P2 220gr, 240Be dan P3 208,250Be tidak terjadi perbedaan yang nyata, sedangkan ukuran kristal garam yang dihasilkan pada tiap-tiap perlakuan tidak berbeda nyata. Now days there are difference realeasd of the highly concentration sea water at the salt produced where are the traditional salt production. The purpose of this study compared highly concentration of sea water to the weight and size of the salt crystals produced. The method used in this study using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments consisting of P1, 230Be, P2, 240Be, P3, 250Be and P4, 260Be, and 3 replications. The results of the study there was significant to the weight of the salt produced at P4 186gr with old water concentration 260Be, while the P1 217gr, 230Be, P2, 220gr, 240Be and P3 208gr, 250Be not significant, while the size of salt crystals produced in each treatment were not significantly.
