    Abstraksi

    Dalam tugas akhir ini, penulis menerapkan konsep game edukasi berbasis RPG atau Role Playing Game dengan tema Pengenalan Komponen Motor Otomotif Berbasis RPG Dengan Algoritma Simple Rules. Game ini dirancang khusus dengan tujuan utama penyampaian materi edukasi yang disajikan dalam bentuk skenario game petualangan. Game ini ditujukan untuk siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Teknik Otomotif Kelas X, dengan harapan game ini bisa menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran bagi siswa sehingga siswa dapat tertarik dan lebih mudah untuk memahami. Penulis menggunakan software untuk mendesain game yang bernama Game Maker, dengan engine ini game dapat dimainkan pada perangkat Komputer. Hasil kuesioner yang diambil dari persentase responden terbanyak, ternyata mendapat respon yang cukup baik, dengan persentase tingkat kesulitan bermain sebanyak 50% mengatakan mudah, tingkat keberhasilan menjadi media pembelajaran sebanyak 45% mengatakan berhasil, tingkat kesukaan bermain pada game sebanyak 45% mengatakan suka, keberhasilan penyampaian materi ajar pada game sebanyak 65% mengatakan berhasil, tingkat efektifitas fitur game dalam membantu memainkan game sebanyak 40% mengatakan membantu, pengaruh game dalam memotivasi belajar komponen motor otomotif sebanyak 40% mengatakan termotivasi, jadi dapat dikatakan game ini sudah berhasil.

    Abstraction

    In this thesis, the authors apply the concept of educational games based RPG or Role Playing Game with a theme of Introduction to Motor Automotive Component-Based RPG With Simple Rules Algorithm. This game is specially designed with the primary objective is the delivery of educational materials are presented in the form of an adventure game scenario. This game is intended for students of Automotive Engineering Vocational High School Class X. the hope of this game could be an alternative medium of learning for students so that students can be attracted and easier to understand. The author uses the software to design games called Game Maker, with this engine games can be played on the computer. Questionnaire results are taken from the highest percentage of respondents, was getting a pretty good response, with a percentage of the level of difficulty to play as many as 50% say easy, the success rate of a medium of learning as much as 45% said work, the level of preference to play in the game as much as 45% say love, success delivery of teaching materials on the game as much as 65% said work, the effectiveness of the features in the game to help play games as much as 40% said it helped, influence in motivating learning games automotive engine components as much as 40% say motivated, so this game can be said to have succeeded.
